We have worked with non-profit agencies who have an on-site infrastructure and/or a trained team in place. Click on each project for a wish list of items that we collect for return trips or direct shipments to different international sites. They provide the willing hands and expertise, and we offer some needed supplies:

  • Elementary schools in the Philippines (direct financial support) to rebuild schools affected by the hurricanes of 2013 in Rotary District 3770. Representatives from New England Rotary clubs have worked together with this district in the Philippines through global matching grants, established relationships with administrators & businesses & educators, and personally visited several of these schools.
  • Partners in Development to provide medical kits and hospital bags for children and their caregivers during medical emergencies that require hospitalization in Guatemala, or to help survivors with basic sanitation and health needs in Haiti (post-earthquake).Note: Bright Happy Power also responded to Haiti’s earthquake by supporting Rotary District 7930‘s contribution of shelter boxes (shelter, food, water treatment/filtration kit, etc. for families) and helping to coordinate awareness and efforts among local schools and organizations to provide in-kind donations to Partners in Development, which is sending teams to Port-au-Prince.
  • Kaya Children International (direct financial support) for programs to help children living on the streets in Bolivia.
  • Rotaplast (pictured to the right) to provide childlife supplies used to relax, distract and ease children through life-altering surgeries to repair cleft lips/palates and burns
